With nice weather and good mood in the luggage the trip with the canoe started at the ferry station Kleinzschachwitz. After an extensive briefing, distribution of the life jackets and the entrance into a terrain unknown to most people, the exciting and sometimes exhausting trip took place along the beautiful scenery of the Elbe. Here we experienced our beautiful Dresden from the water, far away from the project work. After a short detour towards Pillnitz Castle, the most important chinoiserie castle in Europe, the journey went downstream towards Meissen along the picturesque and absolutely impressive scenery of Dresden's old town to our final destination, ESV Dresden, the association for canoe and dragon boat sports.

Here, with tasty snacks from the grill, a cool drink and entertaining conversations, a relaxing and warm end of an exciting and unforgettable day awaited us.
