Sustainable and innovative investement

At its headquarters in Dresden, our company is planning the market launch of a machine/system for flexibilizing or forming hexagonal honeycomb cores into 3D honeycomb cores. This new and very innovative flexibilization process was developed in cooperation with the TU Dresden.

Potential applications for such lightweight components can be found in the interior fittings of aircraft, motor vehicles, caravans and boats, the manufacture of sports equipment, for numerous fixtures in residential construction, in furniture manufacture, in many different everyday objects and for a wide range of special packaging.

This innovative project is of outstanding sustainable and economic interest for the company and for Saxony and Germany as a business location. The "Market launch grant" program of the Sächsische Aufbaubank, which is co-financed by the European Union, enables SmartPac to implement this project.
